  • What is the average cost of a new roof?

The cost of a roof installation will depend heavily on the material chosen and the size of the home. Generally, asphalt shingles are the most economical option followed by tile and then metal. The cost of flat roofs varies greatly because of detailing. Due to this, we cannot give an approximation for flat roofs online. For a reliable roof installer, be sure to call us today!

The cost of a shingle roof replacement will equate to the square footage of your roof x 4. The cost of a concrete tile roof replacement will equate to the square footage of the roof x 8. The cost of a metal roof replacement will equate to the square footage of the roof x 9. The approximated cost of a shingle roof replacement would be 2,300 SQ x 4, equaling $9,200.

*Please note this is a ballpark estimate. Any official estimations by Roofing by Curry may differ due to detailing, waste, roof pitch, rotted wood replacement, material price changes, and more.

  • What is roof flashing?

Flashing is a type of metal used where the walls meet a roof plane. A common example of this technique is a chimney. Flashing will be installed along the base of the chimney where it meets the roof. This metal prevents water from entering between the roof and the wall of the chimney. Flashing can deteriorate over time, however, which can lead to roof leaks. For reliable roofers to handle the job, give us a call today!
